The Geneva Motor Show opens its slick doors today (4th<\/sup> March) with a host of four-wheeled beauties looking to capture the attention, and perhaps tempt the wallet, of the discerning gent who values RPM over anything else. Switzerland is the land where a timepiece can cost more than a car, so the car manufacturers need to go big on style and performance. Thankfully Geneva is the playground of the super car giants, all looking to unveil the next model in the legacy.<\/p>\n

Elysium Magazine picks out the five best new motors at the show to keep a close eye on.<\/p>\n

Lamborghini Huracan<\/b><\/h4>\n

The successor to Lamborghini\u2019s much-loved Gallardo, the Huracan is a beast of a motor. It boasts an impressive 609hp 5.2-litre V10 engine capable of hitting 0-62mph in a mere 3.2 seconds. As for the styling \u2013 it\u2019s all pure motoring aggression in that sleek chassis.<\/p>\n

Ferrari <\/b>California<\/b> T<\/b><\/h4>\n

The California T is Ferrari\u2019s update to the entry-level model and serious consideration for anyone wanting to get into the world of super cars. The T stands for Turbo (obviously) \u2013 packing in a 560hp V8 engine that churns out 49% more torque than its predecessor. The classical look is spot on too.<\/p>\n

Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430<\/b><\/h4>\n

The new V8 Vantage N430 is one of a trio of special editions revealed by Aston Martin at the show. It seems carbon is the theme for Aston Martin this year with the N430 featuring carbon fibre trim inside and out. The other debutants are the DB9 in Carbon Black and Carbon White.<\/p>\n

McLaren 650S Coupe<\/b><\/h4>\n

The British car makers\u2019 entry to Geneva looks to be a mix between McLaren\u2019s MP4 12C and hypercar P1. All we can say is that it looks damn good. It\u2019s a 650hp 3.8-litre twin turbo engine that does 0-62mph in just 3 seconds. McLaren actually states the 650S is one second quicker that the legendary F1 car is a straight 0-124mph run. That\u2019s some claim.<\/p>\n

Bentley Continental GT Speed<\/b><\/h4>\n

For the discerning gent looking for comfort to go with all that speed and luxury, look no further than this Bentley. The Continental GT Speed is an update of the previous model with the same 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine, but now boasting 635hp (that\u2019s a full 10hp more).
