Elysium looks to 2014 with hope of another great year for movies. There is so much on the horizon in the New Year. Last week saw the trailer release of Edge of Tomorrow<\/i>, another Sci-Fi movie set in the midst of destruction on Earth \u2013 Elysium Magazine looks at what we can expect.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Tom Cruise stars in\u00a0Edge of Tomorrow<\/i>\u00a0as a soldier reliving the same day of a war with aliens, trying to figure out a way to win. Emily Blunt is a soldier in a similar situation.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But the story won\u2019t be familiar to just\u00a0Groundhog Day<\/i>\u00a0fans: it\u2019s based on the Japanese novel\u00a0All You Need Is Kill<\/i>, by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.\u00a0Bill Paxton and Jeremy Piven also star.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are hoping Edge of Tomorrow<\/i> will bring out much from the Japanese novel, movies tend to lose the direction of novels when being translated to the big screen. One thing is for sure \u2013 we can expect a twist.<\/p>\n
