The secluded cottage is a luxurious home away from home and the perfect haven for a break away in the beautiful New Forest National Park, whether it\u2019s a special occasion or a family escape. The luxury of the SenSpa facilities and the privacy is available on the grounds \u2013 perfect for those wishing to keep out of the public eye and relax.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Careys Manor Hotel provides fantastic facilities to residents, the 14m ozone swimming pool overlooking the tranquil Zen Garden is great for working up an appetite before lunch. However, the SenSpa luxury facilities is what makes this the venue of choice in New Forest.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n It would be a sin not to experience the magic of water and its therapeutic benefits with the SenSpa\u2019s world class hydrotherapy facilities. Ancient traditions and state of the art technologies combine to deeply relax and ease tired muscles. There is a huge variety of facilities available within SenSpa \u2013 these include a large Hydrotherapy Pool, Herbal Sauna, <\/i>Crystal Steam Room, Laconicum, Tepidarium and Experience Showers to name a few.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The range of treatments is also vast \u2013 the Thai inspired luxury massages and facials are nothing but perfect. We opted to dine at the Manor Restaurant which sources fresh seasonal produce to create traditional British dishes with a French influence. Each dish is designed and expertly cooked by their executive chef, Chris Wheeldon. The elegant interior of the restaurant continued the theme of luxury and the service was perfect \u2013 no surprise it was as popular with residents of the hotel as it was with locals. We were advised to book in advance for a good reason, there was ample space for a number of diners but this didn\u2019t stop a queue of couples and groups keen to get a table.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The main course Slow Cooked Haunch of Venison (\u00a320.95) which was served with Spiced Beetroot Pur\u00e9e, Wilted Cavolo Nero, Confit Garlic Potatoes and Juniper Jus. Certainly one of our recommendations from the menu \u2013 a perfect and fantastic quality piece of meat, presented perfectly for the discerning gent. We also opted for the Line-Caught Sea Bass\u00a0(\u00a318.50) which was served with Beetroot and Potato Mille-Feuille, Caramelised Artichoke, Roasted Garlic Pur\u00e9e and Chorizo and Red Wine Reduction. This was equally as impressive and a number of diners opted for the same mains having seen the beauty of the dishes and our reactions!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For vegetarians, there is also a separate, extensive menu available at the restaurant. The dishes looked just as appetising and the menu seemed to be popular with locals.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The waitress was keen for us to try accompanying wines, her knowledge and recommendations were spot on. This was one more thing you didn\u2019t have to think about \u2013 the Manor Restaurant had everything planned to perfection.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Careys Manor Hotel and SenSpa provides the perfect setting for a weekend break away from the e-mails, phone calls and constant demands of a stressful life. The hotel caters for those in search of a luxury setting and a premium service and the Thai Spa is a fantastic investment, an absolute must if you are looking for a relaxing break. The award of Hotel Spa of the year is well deserved, and the customer reviews are certainly representing our experience over a busy weekend. <\/a>The two AA rosette restaurant is the perfect place to sample fine dining in New Forest and enjoy a formal dinner with family and friends, the menu provides a fantastic variety which would bring a smile to the discerning gent.\u00a0For starters we opted for the Wild Mushroom Risotto (\u00a37.50) and Pan-seared Beetroot Cured Organic Salmon (\u00a37.95) which were absolutely perfect.
