With that in mind, we visited No. Ten Manchester Street \u2013 a designer boutique hotel based in the beautiful Marylebone. A number of readers had recommended the hotel to our panel \u2013 on good authority, read on to find whether the No. Ten Manchester is another recommendation for the discerning gent.<\/p>\n

THE LOCATION<\/b><\/h4>\n

No. Ten Manchester is located five minutes away from Bond Street in London \u2013 perfect for visiting London for the luxury shopping and nightlife. Anybody looking for culture is also in luck, attractions such as the British Museum, National Portrait Gallery and Natural History Museum are all close by. Anyone visiting London for the cricket should also note \u2013 Marylebone is not far from the famous Lord\u2019s cricket ground.<\/p>\n

The hotels itself is extremely inviting \u2013 coming into the lobby you are greeted with a comforting welcome. The hotel itself is based in an Edwardian building with 45 unique rooms. The staff at reception were extremely keen to welcome every guest individually and highlight the facilities available to each guest \u2013 the service was as recommended by our readers: perfect.<\/p>\n

THE ROOM<\/b><\/h4>\n

The hotel has a number of room available for the discerning gent to select from. These include Superior, Deluxe,\u00a0Courtyard,\u00a0Junior Suites,\u00a0Grand Suites, and\u00a0Family\u00a0Suites\u00a0each tailored to enhance the bespoke nature of this Marylebone hotel and the individual needs of its guests.<\/p>\n

No.Ten\u2019s Grand Suite is a breathtaking space with its own separate living area,\u00a0Christoper Guy lounge furniture,\u00a0kitchenette, separate WC and in-built 36\u201d flat screen TV and sound system.<\/p>\n

The master bedroom area has a king size bed and additional 36\u201d flat screen TV, en suite free standing bath and rain shower made of marble, luxury Rituals toiletries, robe and slippers, mini bar and in-room safe, tea making facilities and espresso coffee machine. Everything you need for a warm stay in London was available \u2013 all on hand. Perfect for those looking for a home away from home.<\/p>\n

THE FOOD<\/b><\/h4>\n

Ten Manchester Street Restaurant & Lounge is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy rare fine wines, spirits and authentic Italian cuisine. We offer a modern menu, combining the best seasonal produce with authentic Italian sourced ingredients.<\/p>\n

The restaurant is a little hidden gem in Marylebone, the atmosphere was great for a quiet night out and the cocktails we tried were also made bespoke to our taste. A great start to the main event.<\/p>\n

We opted for the A La Carte Menu and had the Grilled Spanish Choriza, soft goats cheese and red pepper foam (\u00a38) along with the Green and White Asparagus cooked in butter with Parmesan cheese (\u00a38). The starters were well presented and full of flavour \u2013 a beautiful introduction to what was to come next.<\/p>\n

The mains we opted for were the Roasted Cumbrian rack of lamb, spiced saffron risotto (\u00a323.50) and Pan fried Sea Bass served with Braised Fennel (\u00a320). The lamb was beautifully cooked and recommended by the attentive staff, who were on hand to take feedback and ensure our experience was perfect. The Sea Bass was a generous portion, pan fried to perfection \u2013 the fennel was a perfect selection to go with the main, as it was rich in flavour.<\/p>\n

Extremely satisfied with the meal, we were constantly engaged by the staff and invited to our favourite area at No. Ten Manchester \u2013 the Cigar Terrace.<\/p>\n

The Cigar Terrace is reason alone to visit No. Ten Manchester \u2013 it offers a comprehensive range of hand-rolled Havanas. The selection of cigars include Cohiba, Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta as well as many other famous marques. All of the Havanas are carefully maintained by a cigar-trained team and kept in a purpose-built, cupboard humidors to ensure that each cigar is in perfect condition.<\/p>\n

The rest of the evening was spent in the Cigar Terrace, popular with many residents and locals, enjoying a variety of luxury cigars and experts on hand providing the perfect drink to match our choice of Havana. No. Ten Manchester hosts a number of events aimed at discerning gents who like whisky and cigars \u2013 perfect for unwinding on the weekend.<\/p>\n

VERDICT<\/b><\/h4>\n

No. Ten Manchester is a luxury boutique hotel catered for tourists or professionals looking for that unique and refreshing experience when they are away from home. The rooms provide comfort and luxury and every guest is special to the staff. The Cigar Terrace is a unique selling point for the hotel and is certainly why we will be returning \u2013 the locality means you are never far from the London hotspots. If you are looking for somewhere to stay when visiting London, No. Ten Manchester certainly provides a warm stay.<\/p>\n
