As 007 fever captivates Britain, what better way to wet your appetite then to look at the latest trailer for SPECTRE – the 24th James Bond adventure due in cinemas next week.

The 70-seconds-long teaser opens with Daniel Craig as 007 in a helicopter. Holding a ring emblazoned with the octopus logo of the secret organisation SPECTRE, he says: “This organisation, do you know what it is called?”

Lea Seydoux’s psychologist character Dr Madeleine Swan answers: “Its name is SPECTRE.”

In Ian Fleming’s novels, SPECTRE is a commercial enterprise led by Blofeld. The top level of the organisation is made up of twenty-one individuals, eighteen of whom handle day-to-day affairs and are drawn in groups of three from six of the world’s most notorious criminal organisations such as the Gestapo.

In this instalment of the Bond franchise, 007 uncovers the existence of the organization. Needing the help of the daughter of an old nemesis, he embarks on a mission to find her. As Bond ventures toward the heart of SPECTRE, he discovers a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks.

SPECTRE is released in the UK on 26 October and bound to be a 007 movie to remember, possibly Daniel Craig’s last if rumours are to be believed. For further information visit the official site: www.007.com
