Every now and then Elysium Magazine looks for a good horror to keep us on our toes, not that we scare easy, there have been some real shocking moments in movies – Paranormal Activity anyone?


With Halloween around the corner, it’s no surprise that there are a fair few horror thrillers on the way. This week we thought we would treat you to one such horror movie which is bound to cause a stir…. The Bay.

Director Barry Levinson and the producers of Paranormal Activity and Insidious bring together a thrilling tale of a small town plunged into absolute terror and chaos.


The authorities believed they had buried the truth about the tragedy that claimed over 700 human lives. Now, three years later, a reporter has emerged with footage revealing the cover-up and an unimaginable killer: a mysterious parasitic outbreak. Told from the perspective of those who were there and saw what happened…. Sound familiar?



The Bay unfolds over 24 hours though people’s iPhones, Androids, 911 calls, webcams, and whatever else could be used to document the nightmare in Claridge. The trailers gives a preview of what is to come, you should be scared! Not that we are, no, just may need to leave the office a little earlier now the days are getting darker. No, it’s not related to the scary trailer!
